Ivanna
Ivanna lives in Madrid, far from the Lviv where she grew up — but distance has never loosened the thread. As Olha Franko's granddaughter, she is the one who set this project in motion: certain that her grandmother's recipes deserved to outlast their time and cross borders, she wanted to give them a new life, open to everyone.
A keeper of a family memory that is also a cultural one, Ivanna is regularly invited to events on Ukrainian heritage and its transmission. She speaks about food, of course — but above all about identity, continuity, and what we preserve when we preserve a recipe.
The original recipes are published on her blog Praktychna Kukhnia — practical cooking as she continues to share it from Lviv.
Marta
Marta lives in Lviv, a city she inhabits as much as she pays attention to — alert to its cultural life, to what is created and carried on there. She designed and built the original site, and continues to tend it: technically, editorially, and in terms of communication.
She writes recipes with her mother and sister, in that back-and-forth between generations that lies at the heart of the project. Being in Lviv means staying close to the sources — the language, the markets, the seasons.
Nataliya
Nataliya lives in Marseille. Trained in the arts, she worked as a textile restorer and ceramic decorator — crafts of patience and precision, where one repairs what might otherwise be lost, where one lays a hand on what others made before.
She contributes to the recipes alongside her mother and sister, and carries on the family tradition in her own way: she founded an artisanal biscuit company, Biscuits Cui, where each piece is shaped by hand. For her, making things and passing things on have always been the same impulse.
